Wutiko, a professional network to connect people, has won Seedstars Dakar. Wutiko will be joining the other flag bearers from different countries, representing Senegal at the global Seedstars Summit in Lausanne, Switzerland on the 6th April 2017.
Wutiko aims to solve the high rate of unemployment in Africa & lack of structured database for jobs and jobseekers.
Sharek, the data transfer app and Weebi came second and third respectively.
The event took place at JokkoLabs and had the following people as the jury:
- Claudia Makadristo, Associate for Africa – Seedstars World
- Laissa MOUEN, Innovation and Entrepreneurship – COFINA Groupe
- Rokhaya Dieye, Country Coordinator – Entreprenarium
- Djiba Diallo, Developer and Platform Evangel – Microsoft
- Ibrahima Ba, General Director – Enablis
