The prestigious GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition, now in its sixth year, is extending an invitation to young African entrepreneurs leading agri-food ventures to submit their applications for a chance to win a substantial prize. This competition is recognized as the most significant annual event of its kind on the African continent, dedicated to discovering and nurturing agribusinesses that demonstrate innovation and strong growth potential.
This year’s contest will reach its climax with a dynamic live pitch event, set to take place at the esteemed AGRF Summit in Kigali, Rwanda, in the month of September. During this event, finalists will have the opportunity to present their business ideas on stage to a panel of judges and an audience.
The competition is committed to promoting gender equality by ensuring that the top prizes are equally distributed between the sexes. As such, two winners, one male and one female entrepreneur, will each be awarded a prize of US$50,000. This significant financial boost is intended to help these young agripreneurs expand their operations and move closer to achieving large-scale impact with their businesses.
Applications are open here until June 10.
