    WorkAfrica.com launched to aid skilled Africans seeking opportunities

    WorkAfrica.com, a platform that offers access into Africa’s skilled demography has been launched to enable talent seekers hire skilled experts for online and offline projects. The platform is a product of eCommerce Technology Alliance.

    According to the company, WorkAfrica.com is a flexible, user friendly, stable and secured marketplace developed to empower and connect skilled, talented African entrepreneurs to Global businesses for buying and selling online and offline services. It services as a meeting point for buyers and sellers using online tools for job tracking, communication and payment. Buyers and sellers can in few easy steps sell or buy service and get paid or make payment in their own local currency.

    The platform has already integrated Paystack and Stripe in order to enable local and international transactions.

    “The African continent with a population of almost a Billion people, has one of the youngest population in the world. The unemployment rate is high across many countries of Africa. The use of Internet is rising among Africans. The expansion of internet access across many African countries provides opportunities for the young, old and experienced Africans to leverage the internet to get work and make a decent living,” the company said in a statement.

    Registration is free for both buyers and sellers but the platform charges a fee for maintaining the platform and to cover sales and marketing.
