Twiga Foods co-founder, Grant Brooke, has stepped back from his active role in managing the firm.

Brooke made the announcement on his LinkedIn Page almost a year after handing over the CEO role to Mr. Peter Njonjo.

Brooke said, “I’ve decided to step-down from active management in Twiga as of this month, though I’ll remain on the board of directors going forward.”

He added, “Since handing over the role of CEO to Peter last year, I’ve stuck around to help in that transition as much as possible. I think we’ve reached a point where my not being present won’t cause any disruption.”

He hinted at announcing his new project within the coming months.

In 2014, Brooke handed over the reigns of Twiga Foods to Njonjo, and took on an undisclosed executive role in the firm. The role from which he has now stepped down.
