It seems the Bendgate isn’t the only problem that’s plagued the iPhone 6 and 6 plus, and according to a new report by a smartphone repair expert who brought this to light, the report claims there’s new plague growing in numbers with Apple’s 2014 iPhone 6 and 6 plus which is caused by some design flaws on the idevices.
This defect causes a grey flickering bar at the top of the display while making the touchscreen totally unresponsive. Unfortunately, Apple can’t do a thing to fix this problem but not to worry, they’re quite aware of what’s going because their support forums are flooded with complaints.
According to reports, many iPhone 6 and 6 plus owners have allegedly taken their iPhones to Apple to have the “Touch Disease” cured, but were told nothing can be done to fix the problem because the iPhones are already out of warranty.
Although some iPhone owners with the problem have been able to fix the issue by applying pressure to the display, but the gray bar keeps coming back leaving touch functionality useless.
The only way to fix the defect is replace the logic board, or the Touch ICs on the logic board. You can also just replace the entire iPhone but to avoid this from happening to your iphone, there are steps to avoid the Touch IC disease from plaguing your device… Though it’s not certain if these steps will work but keeping your phone in a case, avoid sitting on the device and also avoid keeping your phone in your back pocket. These should at least help avoid the Touch Disease from hitting your iPhone.
