    Samsung and Blackberry Announce Partnership

    0
By Stephen Amaza on November 14, 2014 Business, smartphones

Blackberry is well known for its tight encryption services and Samsung aims to take advantage of the service in its new partnership with Blackberry. Beginning in early 2015, Samsung will integrate BlackBerry’s BES12 end-to-end encryption service into its own KNOX software, which adds another security layer to Android devices.

Knox has initially been criticized for being a weak security system but this partnership should be good enough to make Samsung a major player on the enterprise market while Blackberry will benefit from the cash flow as the sale of its devices has dipped greatly over the last few years.
