Rich Tanksley is leaving Pulse Nigeria as the CEO to take up a new role as a consultant and ambassador with Ringier Africa. In his new role, he will be responsible for helping Ringier grow existing and new properties in Africa.

Rich joined Pulse Nigeria in February 2015 from Seedstars Africa/SimplePay where he helped Seedstars manage their investment in SimplePay and put in all the systems, processes and structures to get SimplePay ready to function at a Western standard and scale quickly.

In his role as the CEO of Pulse Nigeria, he helped the start-up digital publishing company grow to be one of the largest digital media companies in Nigeria.

Philippe Greinacher, currently Co Product Manager Pulse Ghana, will act as Director Sales and Partnerships Pulse Nigeria and Pulse Ghana and help continue to grow the company.

In Africa, Ringier has properties in Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Nigeria.
