Nigerian software developers and designers can compete to win millions of naira in cash prizes and other categories of support being provided in the Enterprise Technology Challenge organized by Oracle, Lagos-based Co-Creation Hub, and Tenece.

Organizers of the challenge said they are using the competition to mobilize Nigerian software developers and designers to build innovative, locally appealing and relevant web and mobile apps that enable and support small and growing businesses in Nigeria.

“Teams, formed around the best ideas submitted for the Challenge, will leverage technology and expertise from Oracle to develop and deploy their applications at a 48-hour rapid prototyping hackathon at the end of October 2015,” organizers said.

The winner of the Enterprise Technology Challenge will be awarded NGN 1 million cash towards the completion and launch of the solution, he or she will also receive strategy and business development support from CcHub’s Pre-Incubation programme. The package also includes marketing and promotion support for the solution from the sponsors; and access to further funds based on traction of the launched solution
