Zeeh Africa, the only African startup among 30 global finalists of the VivaTech 2025 competition, has emerged winner of two awards – the Fintech/eCommerce category at the 2025 AfricaTech Awards, hosted by VivaTech in partnership with Deloitte and supported by Edouard Mendy and the Impact 2035 Award by OVHcloud, recognizing startups driving sustainable digital growth.
Founded in 2022, Zeeh Africa emerged as a visionary fintech startup focused on democratizing financial services through open banking infrastructure. Headquartered in Ibadan, Nigeria, with an operational footprint extending to Lagos and expansion plans beyond Africa, the company serves as a bridge between financial institutions and real-time customer data.
According to co-founder, David Adeleke in a LinkedIn post,
“We came to Paris to share our mission: powering smarter financial services across Africa through open banking, real-time credit data, and intelligent infrastructure. We left with global recognition and a deeper belief in what we’re building. Here’s what went down:
We won the Fintech/eCommerce category at the 2025 AfricaTech Awards, hosted by VivaTech in partnership with Deloitte and supported by Edouard Mendy. This award shines a light on our efforts to close Africa’s $360M+ credit gap caused by bad or missing financial data.
Zeeh Africa also won the Impact 2035 Award by OVHcloud, recognizing startups driving sustainable digital growth – a highlight announced by OVHcloud CEO Benjamin Revcolevschi during their 10th anniversary celebration of the program. We were also invited to join the OVHcloud Startup Program, helping us scale with data sovereignty in mind.
Out of thousands of startups worldwide, we were selected as one of the Top 30 Innovation Finalists by TechCrunch and VivaTech — and the only African fintech on that prestigious list.”
Winning the 1st prize for the Impact 2035 Challenge, Zeeh Africa will receive the equivalent of €100,000 in cloud credits, as well as direct access to the OVHcloud Accelerator 2025 Cohort, a 20-hour support module and a mentoring program.
