Nigerian Obafemi Martins currently plying his trade in the American Major League Soccer scored a spectacular goal on Saturday that left goalkeeper of the San Jose Earthquakes befuddled.
Obafemi currently plays for the Seattle Sounders. His impressive goal which is certainly a candidate of the Goal of the year was the only goal of the match in Seattle Sounders 1-0 win over the San Jose Earthquakes,
“He’s a world-class player,” Sounders goalkeeper Stefan Frei said about Martins. “And it was a goal we needed today.”
However Obafemi Martins will not be playing this summer as he was not called up by the Nigerian Coach to be part of the Nigerian world cup squad.
