It’s a season of awards! On the heels of being nominated for the Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship few weeks ago, Konga.com, Nigeria’s largest online mall, got double honours at the Marketing World Awards 2014. Konga was honoured with the Online Retailer Brand of the Year award, beating other players in the e-commerce industry. Konga was also honoured with the Best Use of Social Media in Marketing Award.
The event, which took place at Oriental Hotel, Lagos on the 8th of November, 2014, was well attended by prominent figures in the marketing and advertising industry. Head of Marketing at Konga.com, Gabriel Gab-Umoden and Social Media Manager, Lanre Sonola, accepted the awards on behalf of the company.
