On the occasion of the upcoming Christmas season, Instagram has released a new guide to help brands make better use of the platform, focusing on the Shop and other eCommerce features.

Overall, it’s an easy read with plenty of case studies and helpful hints in other sections. This knowledge may still be useful in guiding your Instagram marketing strategy or alerting you to elements you may not have thought of. The product tags in Reels are a good example of this.
According to @SMTSsocial, Instagram is still working to promote the use of Reels wherever it can, even testing a new Reels-specific element in hashtag search for some users.
