Healthtracka, a digital health platform that enables users to schedule at-home testing appointments. The health tests offered include a COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, a sexually transmitted illness test, and a full body checkup. The company was funded by Akazi Capital.

As a result of the platform’s creation in 2021 by Ifeoluwa Dare-Johnson (CEO) and Victor Amusan (Head of Product), Nigerians have access to the best at-home health tests.

“The chance to invest in Healthtracka was too good to pass up! Ifeoluwa’s objective to decentralize lab testing and reclaim control of the customer’s healthcare is extremely inspirational.” Akazi Capital said in a statement.

“The amount of traction they’ve gained in only a few months is incredible, and we’re confident that Ifeoluwa will continue to astonish us all over the next few years. She’s put together a fantastic team, and they’re growing. They want to expand beyond Nigeria, and we’re looking forward to seeing their company become the go-to health platform for lab testing in other African countries.”

Akazi Capital is a sector-neutral crowd-funded benefit fund that invests up to $250,000 in early-stage firms led by female entrepreneurs in sub-Saharan Africa.

“At Akazi, we back entrepreneurs that are addressing critical challenges and establishing businesses that improve the world. That is precisely what Healthtracka is doing. Early diagnosis of medical disorders and effective treatment is critical to improve the status of healthcare in Africa, and they are playing a vital part in enabling this and improving the lives of many Nigerians in the process.” it added.

Since its start in the midst of a pandemic in May 2021, Ifeoluwa has proven to be a force to be reckoned with. Hundreds of customers in Nigeria have benefited from their great customer service. They are absolutely in tune with their customers, and they are constantly listening to their feedback as their business grows.
