Residents of Nakuru Bahati are set to be the first constituency in the county to enjoy free WiFi courtesy of its chief Francis Kariuki.
Kariuki is also regarded as the tweeting chief, and according to ICT CS Fred Matiang’i, the chief will launch the project at Jomo Kenyatta Primary school today Monday.
Speaking to the press at Nakuru Palace hotel in Nakuru on Thursday, the administrator said Umoja, Lanet, Bahati and Kabazi will receive the Internet connection.
“We hope it will help farmers sell their produce online before it goes bad,” he said.
