Sahara Reporters announced, via Twitter, that Facebook took down the post that showed a copy of Bukola Saraki’s International Passport. Facebook also threatened to close the online news website’s fan page.
@facebook just removed Bukola Saraki UK passport removed from our page with a threat to unpublish our fanpage. What's wrong with @facebook ?

Yesterday, Sahara Reporters put up a copy of Bukola Saraki’s International Passport on its Facebook page stating that the senate president was not a Nigerian.
Facebook has since removed the page. Why did Facebook do this?
Going through Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, it would seem that Sahara Reporters went against one of its terms. Under Clause 5 (8), Facebook clearly states that “You will not post anyone’s identification documents or sensitive financial information on Facebook.”
So posting the senate president’s International Passport on Sahara Reporters’ Facebook is a violation of Facebook’s terms. Hence Facebook had the right to take down the post.
