This same week, on Tuesday, the Ballon d’Or holder fired Real Madrid to win the first leg of the Champions League match with Atletico Madrid, grabbing a hat-trick in a 3-0 victory at the Bernabeu.
His closest rival in Spain, Lionel Messi has 70.8 million followers.
Ronaldo also has 51.9 million followers on Twitter and 120 million likes on Facebook.
