Applications are now open for the Women Techsters Fellowship Programme, a free, one-year initiative designed to equip young girls and women with high-demand technology skills, enabling them to access a wide range of opportunities in the tech industry.
The Women Techsters Fellowship Programme offers comprehensive training in several key areas, including cybersecurity, DevOps, data science and engineering, product design, product management, mobile app development, and both frontend and backend software development.
This highly competitive programme admits only the top three percent of applicants and is structured into two six-month phases. The first phase focuses on providing both technical and soft skills training, while the second phase emphasizes practical work experience. This includes internships, volunteering opportunities, freelancing, and entrepreneurship.
Participants in the fellowship will gain the technical skills necessary to thrive and succeed in the tech industry. Additionally, they will acquire essential soft skills that are invaluable for effective work relations and collaborative projects. The practical experience component allows fellows to take on real-world roles, thereby increasing their chances of securing a rewarding job or building a successful business.
Applications for the Women Techsters Fellowship Programme are open until January 31. Interested candidates can apply here.
