    Adenia Partners, a private equity firm focused on Africa, has announced the appointment of Franck Falézan to the investment committee of both Adenia Capital IV and its latest flagship fund, Adenia Capital V, which has recently been oversubscribed.

    Franck Falézan brings a wealth of experience to his new role. As the managing partner and co-founder of PrimeStone Capital since 2014, he has played a crucial role in establishing an investment firm that has successfully driven strategic growth across various European companies. His extensive background in private equity is further underscored by his 16-year tenure at The Carlyle Group, where he held the positions of global partner and managing director. During his time there, Falézan led significant European buyouts and served on the boards of several companies in the industrials, healthcare, and media sectors.

    Alexis Caude, managing partner at Adenia Partners, commented on the significance of Falézan’s appointment, stating;

    Adding a new member to our investment committee is a decision we take with great care, as these individuals play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s future. Franck’s outstanding track record in private equity, coupled with his deep strategic insight and strong alignment with Adenia’s values, makes him an excellent addition to our team. His decision to move into African private equity and join Adenia is a remarkable testament to the strength of our platform and the compelling investment opportunities on the continent. His experience and expertise will undoubtedly enhance our ability to deliver outstanding results for all our stakeholders and advance our mission to create lasting value on the continent.

    Falézan’s career began at The Boston Consulting Group, where he worked in both Paris and London, focusing on corporate strategy and operational improvements. He holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and a Master of Science in Mathematics from École Polytechnique in France, further highlighting his strong analytical and strategic capabilities.

    With Falézan’s appointment, Adenia Partners is poised to strengthen its investment committee, leveraging his extensive experience and insights to capitalize on the growing investment opportunities in Africa and drive the firm’s mission of creating sustainable value across the continent.
