Even though I don’t own an iPhone (yet), I came across some very cool features that I know many users of the devic don’t even know about. As far as many users of the device are concerned, iPhone’s edge over Android devices is its ability to provide better user experience on Snapchat.
Let me quickly take you through the nice features of iPhone that many people don’t know until now. So, bring out your devices and try them out right away!
Do you know that your iPhone allows you to send self-destructing audio and video messages?
Etymologically, self-destructing messages are the messages that will be automatically deleted without the receiving doing anything about it. This is a very good feature to be used when you want to send messages that you can’t take responsibility of or could be used as evidence against you. Basically what it does is it allows you to set the period after which the message expires.
Find below how to make use of this feature for audio and video messages.
Your iPhone comes with level function that allows you to know when a surface is a good level. This comes handy when you want to hang pictures, other items or shelves. All you have to do is to navigate your way to the compass and swipe left. When the surface is level it would appear as shown below.
iPhone can tell you the most energy consuming app on your device. To access this feature, go to Settings, then scroll down to Battery to see which of your apps is sucking up the most battery life. It would appear as shown below. Clearly by the way, we need to chill on the Instagram.
I’m very much reluctant to join chat groups because of the constant barrage of messages and alerts. I now many iPhone users also have this reluctance but we all know that there are some groups we cannot help but join them. So to avoid getting bombarded with messages, your iPhone has a Do Not Disturb option in groups. This is how to activate it. Head to the thread’s “Details” section, then put the convo on “Do Not Disturb.” as shown below. That’s all. Chikena. Lobatan.
You can see everywhere you’ve been. This feature would help the ‘ministry’ of spouses who are suspicious of their partners’ movements. To see an unnerving list of everywhere you’ve traveled in the past few months, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services. There is also an extremely specific map function, but I’d rather you not see that.
