Privates, a messaging app now allows you to recall any sent messages as far as the receiver has not opened the message.
After sending a text, picture or video message, users will be able to ‘recall’ it at any time using the app. The message will be erased immediately it is recalled. But, this is only possible if the recipient has not read it. The app uses strong end-to-end encryption that protects the users messages.
Users can also make their unread messages ‘self-destruct’ after a certain time. It has 3 security settings namely mild, wild and insane. With the ‘Mild’ security setting, messages disappear after 24 hours. On the ‘Wild’ setting, they last for 12 hours and expire after three hours on ‘Insane’ according to Privates Website. Again, this is only possible if the recipient has not read the message.
