ZainTECH, the integrated digital solutions provider of Zain Group, has partnered with Microsoft, Zain Kuwait, and Zain Omantel International (ZOI) to launch Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute on the Azure Marketplace — a first-of-its-kind collaboration across Zain entities aimed at transforming cloud access for government and enterprise customers in Kuwait.
The new offering allows organizations to procure secure, private, and compliant connectivity to Microsoft Azure directly through the Azure Marketplace. For existing Azure customers, ExpressRoute can now be purchased using existing consumption credits, streamlining procurement and reducing the time required to deploy cloud infrastructure.
ExpressRoute delivers a dedicated, low-latency connection to Microsoft data centers in the UAE and Europe, enabling high-performance, mission-critical workloads with enhanced data privacy and guaranteed compliance with Kuwait’s regulatory standards.
“Helping governments and enterprises become more digital, intelligent, and resilient is what all Zain entities aim for. The availability of ExpressRoute on the Azure Marketplace is a game-changer for customers in Kuwait. It removes friction from the procurement process and makes it easier than ever for entities to leverage Microsoft’s cloud, using their existing agreements and credits,” said Andrew Hanna, CEO of ZainTECH. “This is how we accelerate real transformation: by combining secure, high-speed connectivity with operational simplicity.”
The partnership sets a new benchmark for cloud connectivity in Kuwait — one that is fast, compliant, and resilient — while also aligning with Kuwait Vision 2035 and the country’s broader digital modernization goals. By empowering enterprises and government agencies with advanced infrastructure capabilities, ZainTECH and Microsoft aim to strengthen digital resilience, drive innovation, and accelerate the region’s transition to an intelligent, cloud-driven economy.
