YouTube has launched a kid-friendly website named YouTubekids.com.
This may be in reaction to the anticipated hammer from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) investigation. It is rumoured that Alphabet’s Google will pay between $150 and $200 million to settle the Federal Trade Commission investigation into YouTube’s alleged violation of a children’s privacy law
With this initial offering, there won’t be an option to sign in, similar to watching YouTube Kids on TVs today. Parents will still be able to see watch history, flag content, and choose from the new age group content settings. YouTube says it is actively working to bring the sign-in ability to YouTube Kids on the Web, and they will let us know when sign-in becomes available!

Preschool (ages 4 & under) is designed to allow kids to watch videos that promote creativity, playfulness, learning, & exploration.

Younger (ages 5-7) is designed to allow kids to explore their interests and search for a wide variety of topics, including songs, cartoons, crafts, & more.

Older (ages 8-12) is designed to allow kids with growing independence to search & explore additional music videos, gaming, family vlogs, science, and more.
