Even though it has been in operations for 4 years, Nigeria’s ecommerce powerhouse, Konga.com, is yet to reach the climax of its story according to the company’s director of Marketing and Customer Experience Mayowa Adebayo.
“Regardless of the achievements and milestones we have reached in our four years of innovation, we will not stop innovating because we are yet to reach the climax of the Konga story,” she said.
Today, the company officially announced plans to celebrate its fourth anniversary with the launch of a a unique sale around 4.
“The sale will be for four hours, for four days, featuring four discounted items on each day of the sale,” Konga said in a statement.
Writing its own history, Konga said it started operations in 2012 as an online retailer selling just baby and beauty products. Growth at the company was rapid as it said it rose 11 times in its first year of operations and 4.5 times in the second year.
