This newly established partnership between Xpress Money and TerraPay will have a major impact on businesses in Africa.

This partnership enabled international money transfers to mobile wallets in Africa allowing customers to send money form their country to any mobile number or bank account in certain countries in Africa.

Thanks to Xpress Money’s vast reach across the globe, having over 200,000 agents in 165 different countries. This will allow for customers across the globe to quickly and easily pay for Money services that are available in Africa.

All that’s needed to do is to simply visit one of the Xpress money outlets near you and follow a simple guided process to make the payments you need.

The Founder & CEO of TerraPay, Ambar Sur explains that “TerraPay has brought mobile wallets mainstream by interconnecting then with the extensive global network of Xpress Money for cross border money transfer.”

TerraPay has also done their part by partnering with Paga in Nigeria and Selcom, allowing access of this newly developed service to reach those countries respectively, as well.

The COO of Xpress Money, Sudhesh Giriyan explains how the convenience of mobile wallets is changing the methods of customer spending. The advantages of using this new service not only include convenience, but also cheaper costs and financial security.

Sudhesh goes on the explain that the virtual bank accounts known as mobile wallets have every function that a physical bank would such as paying bills and transactions.

Physical banks within Africa may lack the personnel to readily assist you. Why wait in a queue when you can deal with your business with just a few button presses?
