Chinese electronic giant, Xiaomi, has just launched the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. Launched in China today, one of the outstanding features of the phones is actually the 64MP camera for the Redmi Note 8 Pro; making it officially the world’s first smartphone with a 64MP primary sensor.
The Redmi Note 8 series are the successors of the Redmi Note 7 series, which was launched in January this year.

The smartphones are set to go on sale in China starting next month; the Redmi Note 8 Pro on the 3rd of September while the Redmi Note 8 on the 17th of September.
Though the devices will be available in a couple of weeks after, no date has been given for the rollout of the devices elsewhere.
