WooCommerce partnership with Paystack makes integration a lot simpler

Paysatck and WooCommerce have announced a new partnership that makes integration easier a lot easier and faster.

WooCommerce is one of the biggest ecommerce solution in Africa. Launched on September 27, 2011, it is an open-source e-commerce plugin designed for small to large-sized online merchants using WordPress.

This new partnership makes Paystack the preferred payments partner for WooCommerce in Africa.

    Here’s what this partnership means:

Paystack is now integrated more closely into the WooCommerce experience, and so to accept payments on your store, you can now simply select Paystack as your payment option right from your WooCommerce Dashboard. Previously, you needed to separately download and install the Paystack plugin for WooCommerce, but integrating Paystack is now a lot simpler.

How to get started with WooCommerce + Paystack

Setting up a WooCommerce store, and accepting online payments on your store is easy. Here’s a detailed guide (and video) that shows you how to get started with WooCommerce and Paystack.

Paystack has also partnered with four digital agencies — Semantica, Woww, Yobo and Gen6 — to help you set up your WooCommerce store for a fee.

In October 2020, Paystack was acquired by Stripe for $200 million. With this fund, it has been been growing across Africa to become the premier in its chosen field. It claims that over 60 000 organisations across the African continent use Paystack software and that it powers more than half of all online payments made in Nigeria
