Warner Bros. just released the new trailer for Wonder Woman and it is really intense. The DCEU continues to push forward with big titles and this next film is taking the entire Extended Universe back in time to show us the origins of Diana Prince a.k.a Wonder Woman.
The new footage shows Diana’s home, where the Amazons dwell… as Steve Trevor’s plane crashes on the island, then she sees men invade Themyscira, followed by a battle between the Amazons and the military. Which she sees the need to stop “the war to end all wars.”
The trailer also teases one of the female-driven superhero’s coolest weapons, the golden lasso of truth. This should get DC movie fans really excited but fanboys are also hoping for something better from the DCEU this time.
The movie is directed by Patty Jenkins, starring, Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis and Danny Huston.
