Having an idea and starting your company is just one of the many steps in the startup journey. Founders often have to deal with the sometimes long and distracting process of fundraising while dealing with the day-to-day challenges of running and growing a business. Does being a woman affect this dynamic and what does it mean to be a female founder in Nigeria today?
Ventures Dialogue, a platform for education, collaboration and dissemination of investment opportunities tailored to meet the specific needs of African founders and entrepreneurs, presents a one-day dialogue on Women Founders and Funders.
Join fellow women founders, advisors and investors for this one day event including an investment masterclass on “How to Pitch to a VC” and a panel session exploring the experiences of women founders who have raised funding and how to navigate the challenges that are peculiar to female entrepreneurs.
During this event, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Participate in an interactive masterclass on investments and investor expectations;
- Learn from and network with other women founders, investors and advisors;
- Become a part of a closely knit community of entrepreneurs.
The event starts by 10am prompt on Saturday 20th May, 2017 at Seedspace Lagos 23 Agodogba Ave, Parkview Estate, Lagos
