As I watched him the event of his Facebook page, I beamed with joy and love that Wizkid, a Nigerian, was able to fill Royal Albert Hall. You may think this is nothing but he has joined the league of great musicians like The Beatles, Elton John and even Adele.
The 5,272 seater hall was filled with people who came to enjoy the songs of Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid.
This was a guy who was denied a travel VISA when he tried to travel to London to perform at one of Basketmouth’s shows.
It is said that the concert which took place on the 29th of September was sold out two days before the event.
He trilled the crowd for over one hour with songs from his time with EME records till the present day. He had a duet with former Mohits/Mavin star, Wande Coal.
As he closed the show, he said his next move was to fill up the 20,000 O2 Arena in London
