So the startup whose vision is to change the experience of bus travel, will represent Zimbabwe and compete for a chance to win the $1 million equity investment among other prizes. myRunner was conceived in 2015 and launched in September 2017 to become a leading bus booking platform in Southern Africa.
myRunner seeks to improve the lives and quality of travel experience passengers travelling by road using a bus. It beat nine other startups to win the coveted spot.
Commonground, a peer-networking app that connects university students to share projects, ideas, and opportunities, went home with the Best Learner Prize. Tipster won the Civic tech prize.
