Microsoft is preparing yet another Windows 10 event later this month, and it looks like the company could put a big focus on smartphones this time. According to sources, a preview of Windows 10 for phones should be available before the end of January.
Windows 10 is expected to help the firm create a “One Microsoft” software. This was introduced with Windows 8 but it wasn’t quite as profound as what windows 10 will offer.
So what this means is, a smartphone user interface will offer more unity with tablet and UI similarities to desktop versions.
Windows 10 will also introduce the company’s “Spartan” browser, which has been one of the hottest rumour so far about the operating system. And we expect to see this during the firm’s press event on Jan. 21.
If you want to try Windows 10 on your smartphone, you can head to the Windows Phone Store and download Microsoft’s Phone Insider app but it only works for company employees at the moment, but it should be open to the public later in the month.
