Microsoft officially announced that its new OS is now running on more than 200 million devices since it launched Windows 10 back in July 29th – so that means, the OS is running on 200 million devices within 5 months of release.
Of course, the number is quite impressive – however, since Windows 10 is a free upgrade for most Windows users it is worth noting that we are not quite sure if the latest number of Windows 10 installs include devices like the Xbox One and Mobile devices. Of course, this could change a lot and could make the numbers not very impressive for the software giant.
Windows 10 could get a lot more users in 2016 as Microsoft plans to work on the OS and fix more bugs. The company is also expected to release two new major updates for Windows 10 to the public in 2016. The next update is codenamed “Redstone” which will bring new features to the operating system.
