WhatsApp video calling has been in the works for quite some time now and this time, it’s available for Android devices. The feature was first spotted by Android Police.
Although the feature is only available on the latest Android beta build version 2.16.318. Previous reports only got leaked images of this feature both on iOS and Android but this time, it’s legit.
Using the WhatsApp video calls works pretty much the same as using the voice calls. To use this feature, install the latest beta build on your Android device, tap on the call button. A dialog box will pop up with options to place a voice call or a video call. Tap the on the video call option, and that’s it. But keep in mind that this will only work if the other WhatsApp caller has the latest build installed.
If you are curious on how this works and want to give it a try, grab the latest build for the WhatsApp beta version 2.16.318 from APK Mirror and give it a go.
