WhatsApp is reportedly trialling a new feature whereby you can send self-destructing messages in private conversations.
This was first spotted by WABetaInfo, which shows that the latest beta (version 2.20.83/2.20.84) for the Facebook-owned app includes a “Delete messages” option for private chats. According to Android Central, “Previous betas had already added a similar setting for group chats, but WhatsApp has now expanded the functionality to personal conversations, as well.”
This new feature will allow you to set messages to self-destruct after an hour, a day, a week, a month, or possibly a year

Once activated, You will see a small “clock” icon next to individual chat bubbles to indicate that it will be deleted per a timeframe given
