It is certainly not in the same league with the past phone, the Infinix Zero, but it meets all the requirements of the target market. It is a budget phone, giving you the best of a phone at the lowest price. It is currently selling at N13,400 even though it sold at a discount price of N12,900 on Konga.com when it made its debut on the Nigerian market. The item on Konga.com comes with 500MB free data because of a tie-in with Etisalat Nigeria.
An unboxing done recently shows the basic content in the box. So the pack, like any most packs, comes with the phone, battery, earplugs, charger and USB cable.

Strong Casing
I truly like the casing of this phone. It is plastic and durable hence I am not bothered if it drops. It is not susceptible to scratches. A cool bonus feature is that the back cover glows in the dark.
“Ready To Play” Games
Initially I was surprised to see some video games from Gameloft such as Assassins Creed, GT Racing 2, The Avengers, Asphalt 7 on the phone thinking whether it was powerful to support them. I must say I was pleased when I played the some of the games; which is helped by the presence of the quad core processing capability.
Chat Apps
The phone comes ready with chat applications which is synonymous with the target market – BBM, Palmchat
Swiftkey Feature
The Infinix Hot comes ready with the Swiftkey Feature. The SwiftKey is an on-screen keyboard that adapts to the way you type. With this feature, you spend less time correcting your typos, and more time expressing what you really mean. Though I must say it takes some getting used to. And when you do, you find it mighty useful.
Battery
This phone comes with a 2000mAH which can last up to 1 day but it depends on what you do with the phone. You definitely know it would not last that long if you play games all the time. But it will last long if you are just doing the basics with your phone.
