    Watch the Google October 4 event here and what you should expect

    Google is expected to unveil new products today and you can watch it below. The event will start at 9 AM in San Francisco, 12 PM in New York, 5 PM in UK/Nigeria.

    Here are some of the things expected at the launch today:

    • The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL;
    • A new Chrome OS-based laptop, the Google Pixelbook;
    • A smart speaker, the Google Home Mini and ;
    • new hardware for the Daydream VR platform

    We think the big reveal will be the Pixel 2. Google already sent a teaser on what the phone might likely do or….

    As usual, there has been leaks about this phone. Professional leaker, Evan Blass showed a new image of the phone a couple of days ago

    As for the Pixelbook, DroidLife says that the Pixelbook will come in Silver, along with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options. The 128GB version will start at $1,199, followed by the 256GB model at $1,399 and the 512GB option at $1,749. The site also says “This Pixelbook is different from previous Chromebook Pixel units in that it folds into a tablet. It’ll also get additional interactivity, thanks to the official Pixelbook Pen, which will cost $99.”
