Today, October 4th, Google is about to take the stage on its biggest hardware event to unveil a slew of new hardware. The main focus of them all is are the Pixel smartphones but products like Google’s Home smart speakers, new wireless routers, and a 4K Chromecast might also be announced during the event.
Apple has always been Google’s biggest competition. And this time, Google is trying to take control of both its Operating system and hardware.
This has always been reason Apple has conquered because it has been able to control and fine-tune both the hardware and the operating system of its iPhones and iPads.
Today, Google is going to change that by investing itself fully into the business of being a phone maker as well as software provider.
This might sound like the Nexus brand but Google claims it’s entirely different with the tag #MadeByGoogle.
