Award-winning cable TV channel, WapTV, has commenced streaming of its programmes online.

He further stated that digital interactive media is known to be bridging communication gaps faster, thus the live streaming of contents on the channel via http://thewaptv.net/tv.php.
This, according to him, is a way of bringing the brand closer to its diverse viewers.
The TV channel, which is described as a family entertainment channel, recently bagged the “Cable TV Channel of The Year” award at the 2013 edition of the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Award (NBMA).
wapTV’s contents air on Star Times Channel 116 across Nigeria and other African countries, including South Africa, Kenya, Mozambique, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Central Africa Republic, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo and Guinea.
