Innovator in cloud communication solutions – Voxox , which is also an operator for business communications systems for small businesses in the United States under Cloud Phone and VoxDirect brands, and Passage Telecom, a leading Nigerian ISP have partnered roll out cloud phone to empower small businesses in Nigeria. Therefore, what that it entails is that Voxox will power white-label virtual PBX service in Nigeria with localized telephone numbers and service.
As part of the agreement, Passage Telecom is white labeling Voxox Cloud Phone and is now offering the service in Nigeria under the brand, Business Call Solutions, complete with Nigerian telephone numbers. Voxox is partnering with operators worldwide to jointly operate the Cloud Phone solution. This is the first implementation of Voxox Cloud Phone on the African continent. Passage Telecom currently serves Nigerian customers with premium internet services.

Voxox is hosting Passage Telecom’s service from its U.S. and European data centers and supports Passage local billing in Nigeria through a merchant payment gateway integration. Voxox UCPaaS (Unified Communications Platform as a Service) is integrated into Passage Telecom’s network through SIP and SMPP connectivity.

Users can receive calls on the mobile app or any phone in the world, make calls with the mobile app or directly using mobile phone service, manage call activity, settings through their portal, access features such as voicemail transcription, call recording, device transfer, and much more, all within a sleek, web-based, and mobile user interface. No special equipment or advanced skills are necessary to use the service. Customers will be led to Passage Telecom landing page through digital marketing without any intervention by the operator staff.
Once a Do-It-Yourself set-up is completed online, all that a user needs is a mobile phone to which the calls are routed. Passage will later introduce TextMeIn from VOXOX, text message marketing solution, which will enable the small businesses to prepare and launch bulk SMS campaigns, a service currently only available through specialized carriers to large enterprises. TextMeIn allows small businesses to stay in touch with their customers even when they are working remotely.
Passage Telecom Business Call Solutions will leverage Voxox’ patent-pending breakthrough VoIP codec, for crystal clear voice quality in poor bandwidth conditions. This is of extreme importance particularly in suburban and rural areas where internet connectivity and quality are less developed.
