Vodafone is removing Huawei from the sensitive parts of its mobile network in the European Union (EU).
The company was compelled to make the move after Britain restricted Huawei’s operations in its 5G roll out.
Vodafone will adjust its partnership with the firm in compliance with Britains rules.
Britain also imposed a 35% cap in the less-sensitive radio network, which will cost Vodafone more than 180 million dollars, spanning across five years.

Vodafone will still use Huawei’s products in other markets in the EU, such as Spain, which have no restrictions on the Chinese tech giant.
Vodafone has a large customer-base in Europe, of up-to 111 million. The adjustments it’s required to make could see the firm delay its planned 5G roll out in the region.
