Vodacom Business Nigeria has introduced an innovative solution Software as a Service (SaaS) that is targeted at Nigeria’s small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs).

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony held in Lagos yesterday (Thursday), Abu Etu, Vodacom Nigeria’s Product Manager, said SMEs now improve their efficiency and productivity via remote, on-site and mobile collaborations that save costs.

“We will provide and manage the software, renew licenses, do the upgrades and ensure full security of our customer’s data. Customers simply lease it from us at an affordable monthly or yearly fee as it suits them” he said.

Those that are already using the innovation said it allows for better resource allocation as they no longer need dedicated resources for network and software management – everything is backed by excellent service from Vodacom Business Nigeria.

Etu said the advantages of SaaS include easy scaling up or down, low deployment costs, low upgrade costs, subscription based pricing, no upfront investment required and genuine license among others.

“Vodacom software as a service is the first in West Africa that gives businesses total security, total reliability and world class reference,” he said.
