VideoLAN has finally launched VLC play app on Windows 10 although it’s not on a similar level with its desktop version when it comes to features. Features like support for DVD or Blu-ray are missing which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, however aside from these missing features, it does practically everything its desktop client does.
It’s even got more to offer like Cortana integration, Continuum and Live Tiles. Who does love live tiles? And the best part is, VideoLan made it known that support for other Windows 10 devices including Microsoft HoloLens will arrive, although there’s no specific date on when this is will happen.
If you haven’t already installed the new VLC Windows 10 app, there is a link below to help you with that.
