Some videos go viral for some plausible reasons, say like Psy’s Gangnam Style which took 5 months to reach 1 billion views. But I do not understand why a lady’s resignation video would hit 11 million views in 5 days, since the 28th of September.
Marina Shifrin used to work for a Taiwanese company that produces news videos, Next Media Animation. Then she quit. What is news is the way she did it. I guess her reason was the fact that she did not agree with her boss as to what was important about her job – quality or quantity, speed and views.
In quitting, she posts an Interpretive Dance of Kanye West’s Gone on YouTube to explain her feelings.
