    Velents.ai secures $1.5M to launch Arabic-speaking AI employee, Agent.sa

Enterprise AI startup Velents.ai has successfully raised US $1.5 million in a new funding round, marking a significant milestone as it unveils Agent.sa, a pioneering Arabic-speaking AI employee designed specifically for organizations across the Middle East.

The funding round drew interest from a group of prominent angel investors, including senior executives from global firms such as Google and the Boston Consulting Group, highlighting growing confidence in Velents.ai’s vision and regional impact.

Founded by Egyptian-Saudi entrepreneurs Mohamed Gaber (CEO) and Abdulaziz Almuhaydib (COO), Velents.ai operates with a cross-border team based in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The company initially focused on recruitment technology but underwent a strategic pivot in 2023, expanding its mission to deliver AI-powered digital solutions that help organizations attract, engage, and retain top talent.

Since its relaunch, Velents.ai has secured partnerships with a diverse range of clients, including private sector companies, academic institutions, and government ministries in both Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

The newly launched Agent.sa is positioned as a fully integrated digital employee capable of operating entirely in Arabic, including regional dialects, without the need for translation layers or complex interfaces. The platform can manage phone calls, WhatsApp conversations, task execution, and data analysis, all through natural language interaction.

According to the company, Agent.sa is designed to function alongside human teams, offering seamless integration into existing workflows.

    CEO Mohamed Gaber said:

We’re not just building a tool. We’re delivering a real digital employee who works alongside human teams. Our goal is to empower Arab companies with an intelligent worker who understands their language and dialect and enhances their daily productivity.

    COO Abdulaziz Almuhaydib added:

We’re not selling off-the-shelf software. We’re embedding a smart employee into every company—one that learns, adapts, and delivers value in real time.

Velents.ai envisions Agent.sa as a transformative solution for industries such as banking, telecommunications, logistics, and healthcare, offering 24/7 operational capacity and the ability to handle thousands of customer interactions simultaneously.

The technology behind Agent.sa is built on a proprietary Arabic-language AI model, trained on millions of texts and conversations across various dialects, and designed to comply with local data protection regulations. Looking ahead, Velents.ai is already preparing for its next funding round, with plans to close by early 2026, as it continues to scale its operations and deepen its impact across the region.
