The company announced that it has received the Central Bank of Kenya license, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing expansion throughout Africa. This strategic move follows Unlimit’s recent acquisition of the Central Bank of Nigeria license, solidifying its position as a reputable provider of payment solutions in the African region. Unlimit received its Payment Solution Service Provider (PSSP) licence from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in April 2023.
Unlimit (previously known as Unlimint) says its strategic expansion in Kenya is driven by its dedication to providing an exceptional payment experience incorporating globally recognized payment best practices, advanced security protocols, in-depth merchant analytics, and a user-friendly interface. Unlimit intends to meet the specific preferences and needs of local businesses, equipping them with state-of-the-art payment solutions that empower their operations.
