UNICEF StartUp Lab is inviting applications for its six-month accelerator program. The program, targeted at influential Ghanaian startups and businesses, supports those committed to furthering the Sustainable Development Goals for children and young people.

The UNICEF StartUp Lab was initiated in 2019 and is spearheaded by UNICEF in Ghana, with the support of KOICA, and implementation by MEST Africa.

MEST Africa offers widespread technical skills and systematic knowledge in the social sector, guided by UNICEF professionals who specialize in areas like education, health and nutrition, social policy and protection, water, sanitation, hygiene, and child protection.

The participants in the program can avail of a multitude of support mechanisms like prototyping funding, individual mentorship, and access to the network of UN System partners. The program is meticulously designed to serve as a catalyst for growth and innovation. It targets Ghanaian startups that are driven to make an impact and are inclined towards a technology-centric approach.

The deadline for the application submissions is February 29.
