UK based company Transferbee officially launched a new service transferbee.com to offer cheap and convenient money transfer from UK to Nigeria. Eskimi was chosen as main channel for the launch of new financial service in Nigeria.
Transferbee enables Nigerians living in UK to send money to their family and friends in Nigeria cheaper than through banks or other systems. The company will charge only 4.5 pounds for the transaction. Money will be sent directly to the mobile phone in Nigeria using a growing mobile money ecosystem in the country.
“We have chosen Eskimi to launch our service in Nigeria for their high reach and we are happy to experience extremely high engagement of Eskimi users. In a month time, we have grown our fanclub in Eskimi to more than 55’000 fans and Facebook likes to more than 27’000 using display media and Eskimi engagement tools like treasure hunt”, Titas Bledis, CEO of Transferbee talked about the launch campaign.
Eskimi launched display media, engagement tools, data collection and reverse promotion campaign for Transferbee. Key goal of the campaign was to introduce a new brand in Nigeria, inform money receivers about better conditions to receive money. The campaign also had innovative tools to reach and engage with the money senders from UK, the country Transferbee operates from.
