Uber’s ride-hailing rival Didi Chuxing is set for the global market as it has launched an English version of its app.
The new service is in the beta mode and only available in three Chinese cities-Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Users will have access to the English interface after they install the latest version of the app.
The Uber China app isn’t available in English and has not had any updates in the past few months and doesn’t support international credit cards.
Didi Chuxing, formerly Didi Kuaidi, is a ride-sharing company that provides transportation services for up to 400 million users across over 400 cities in China. It has more than 1.5 million registered taxi drivers. Its headquarters is located in Beijing.
