Uber Now Allows Riders To Add Multiple Stops on The Same Trip

The updated version of Uber will now allow riders to add up to 2 additional stops during their ride. Before this, you either had to manually navigate your driver to a stop, or update your destination mid-ride.

The multiple destinations feature will make it much easier to pick up and drop off friends, or even run a quick errand. Uber drivers will wait up to 3 minutes at each stop.

To use the feature, tap “where to?” and then “+”. Add the addresses of your stops, and then request your ride. Should you need to make changes during your trip, you can also add and remove stops in real time. Your driver will automatically receive directions to each of the stops so you can sit back and relax. If you make a mistake, tap the X next to a stop to remove a stop.

Uber may be late to introducing the additional ride feature as one of its major competitors, Lyft, already has multiple stops feature way, so this was an area where Uber was seriously behind.
