Just a month ago, Twitter users spotted a night mode toggle within the Twitter app for Android. The change was triggered server-side, which suggests it’ll only show up on different Twitter app versions, however, it did not seem to be like there’d be a way to revert the dark theme back to its default state for the asking.
Now, more users are reporting this dark theme, except Twitter seems to have introduced a specific toggle in the app’s drawer for night mode. Once it’s on, the app’s interface will switch fully to the dark shade of blue and when it’s off, you’re back to the default look.
It is a cool addition to the Twitter app for Android but since it’s a server-side change you might not get to see this change just yet and that might vary on your mileage. This new feature has not been spotted on the iOS version, either is there any word on if Twitter’s iOS app will be obtaining this new night mode feature.
